Yin Yoga is a very slow paced practice targeting the connective tissues (tendons, fascia and ligaments) improving the flow of energy throughout the body. This is accomplished through passive holding of specific postures for 1-5 minutes, using the breath to ease the body further into the pose. Yin is the perfect complement to the faster more heat building (yang) practices.We will use props to encourage a safer approach to each posture, leading to a more profound experience. All levels are welcome!
