Smile Owen is the owner of Moonshine Yoga, an experienced E-RYT 500 instructor, and a certified Aerial Yoga Trainer, Smile brings years of dedicated teaching experience and a deep passion for yoga education. Her approachable teaching style, grounded wisdom, and commitment to nurturing new instructors create a supportive and empowering learning environment.
Under her guidance, trainees develop confidence, clarity, and a strong foundation as they step into their roles as yoga teachers.
Justine Henderson has been practicing yoga for over a decade and is known for her strong Hot Power Vinyasa foundation, creative sequencing, and restorative practices that support nervous system balance. Her classes blend dynamic movement, intentional breath, and fluid transitions for an experience that is both energizing and grounding.
As a mom of three, Justine values yoga as a sustainable path to physical and mental resilience. She offering inclusive, empowering classes that meet students where they are and support strength, balance, and self-awareness.
Claire Lowenthal is a dedicated and intuitive yoga teacher known for her clear, grounded, and empowering cues. She uses thoughtful language to help students connect deeply to their bodies, understand alignment, and move with confidence.
In 200-hour yoga teacher trainings, Claire shares her passion for mindful communication, guiding future instructors to develop their own authentic voice. She helps trainees learn to cue with clarity, purpose, and heart.
Dr. Devin Colburn is a chiropractor and movement specialist based in Leander, TX, and the founder of Colburn Chiropractic. With a background working with professional and Olympic athletes, he brings a deep, practical understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention to everyday bodies.
In the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Dr. Colburn’s passion is helping teachers truly see the body — how joints move, where common imbalances show up, and how smart alignment can reduce pain and build long-term stability. He makes complex anatomy simple and relatable, connecting muscles and joints directly to asana, breath, and functional movement.
Kelly West (500 RYT, E-RYT 200) is a yoga teacher and certified sound healing practitioner with over a decade of experience. In Moonshine’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, she specializes in helping teachers understand how Yin and Restorative yoga, combined with intentional sound, can support the nervous system and deepen relaxation.
Drawing from her background in Hatha, Yin, and Restorative yoga, Kelly guides trainees in creating classes that are gentle, accessible, and therapeutic, while still offering safe opportunities for challenge. She emphasizes how to use props, sequencing, and longer-held postures to encourage release, regulation, and deep rest.

- $500 deposit is non-refundable
- $150 administrative fee will be charged
- Remaining paid amount will be refunded
Within 30 days of training start date:

After training begins:
- No refunds will be issued for any reason.

Who is this training for?
This training is for anyone ready to deepen their yoga practice, whether you want to teach or simply explore yoga on a deeper level. If you’re passionate about movement, mindfulness, and self-discovery, this program is for you!
Do I need to be “advanced” in yoga to join?
Not at all! You don’t need to be able to do a handstand or put your foot behind your head. What matters most is your commitment, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
What if I have to miss a session?
Life happens! While attendance is required, we offer ways to make up missed sessions with personalized guidance.
What is the weekly time commitment?
Expect about 4-5 additional hours of yoga practice each week, along with readings, journaling, and online coursework.
How much teaching practice will I get during the training?
You’ll practice teaching throughout the training every day. I believe in learning by doing, so you’ll have ample opportunities to apply what you’re learning and build your confidence as an instructor.
Is there any additional work required besides the in-studio training time?
Yes, there are 40 hours of non-contact self practice need to be completed, observation of 5 Yoga classes at Moonshine studios along with 20 hours online anatomy course throught the training.
Are meals provided during the training?
Meals are not provided, but water and light snacks will be available. There are also several cafes and food places within a few minutes’ drive of the studio.
Is there a payment plan available for the training fee?
Yes, payment plans are available. However the certification will not be issued without the training paid in full.
What ongoing support is available after the training?
Moonshine Yoga offers continued support beyond graduation through our New Instructor Mentorship Program. This program helps new teachers gain confidence, refine their skills, and receive personalized guidance as they begin their teaching journey.
All graduates of the 200-hour training receive an exclusive discounted rate for mentorship services.
Is there a minimum attendance for the training to take place?
Yes, a minimum of 4 students must sign up for the training to proceed.
What if I want to join but don't want to become a Yoga Instructor?
That’s absolutely fine! This training can deepen your personal practice, deepen and understanding more about yoga, even if you don’t plan to teach.
What if I’m nervous about starting?
That’s totally normal! Growth happens outside of your comfort zone. This training is designed to support you every step of the way, with a welcoming community and experienced guidance. If your heart is calling you to this, trust that you belong here.
