For toning muscles and building strength as a beginner, consider these options:

  • Barre — focuses on small, controlled movements to tone muscles, improve posture, and increase endurance.

  • Mat Pilates — strengthens your core and overall body with controlled movements that improve stability and flexibility.

All these classes are beginner-friendly and great for building strength. Feel free to try each and see which you enjoy most!

Studio Policies

At Moonshine Yoga Studio, our no late entry policy is in place to ensure the safety, focus, and overall experience of all participants. Arriving on time helps:

  • Keep the class flow smooth and undisturbed for everyone

  • Prevent accidents, especially in aerial yoga where timing and setup are critical

  • Respect the instructor’s teaching plan and other students’ practice space

  • Allow you to properly center yourself and settle into the class mindset

We like to say: “Show up late, practice more.” If you do arrive late, we kindly ask you to join the next class. This way, you can fully enjoy your practice without disruption and keep everyone safe.

We do not have a late cancellation or no-show penalty for all the regular mat classes. However, for aerial classes, please make sure to cancel at least 6 hours before the class starts.

If you no-show or cancel within 6 hours of the aerial class start time, a $25 fee will be charged. This policy helps us manage limited aerial class spots and ensure fairness to all participants.

If you need to leave class early, please let the instructor know ahead of time. You can set up your yoga mat in a spot closest to the door to minimize disruptions when leaving. It’s best to leave before the final relaxation pose (Savasana) starts.

It is always appropriate to inform your instructor about any existing physical conditions or concerns you have.

Our instructors are trained to provide modifications and ensure your safety. If you have any serious concerns, we recommend consulting with your doctor before attending any yoga class.
